Rod takes this Strength and conditioning, or S&C, full body program designed to challenge and advance your all round fitness. Instead of just your typical ‘cardio blast’ bootcamp style workouts, S&C gives clients a balanced training program and balanced fitness. The programs are structured week to week so you can know that each workout flows into the other with purpose and progression at its core.
Training in S&C utilises quicker circuit style workouts to improve your cardiovascular health with benefits like lowering your blood pressure, a slower resting heart rate along with better endurance and stamina. As well as that, we incorporate slower weights workouts that see clients getting to work with appropriately challenging weights for set reps and sets so that they can build muscle, and see their strength increase week to week with meaningful progression.
No need to worry about getting bulky (especially ladies because quite simply you don’t have the testosterone for it), moreover the most recent studies have that in order for long term health, lifting challenging weights provides more benefits than smashing cardio.

Lisa understands exactly what it’s like to see your body change through the years. And she designed this unique program specifically for women over the age of 45. You’ll get a full body workout with variety and challenge that suits your needs, not the needs of a 20 something. Our bodies change as we get older, and it’s important that you feel comfortable working out with women that share those unique challenges. All exercises can be easily modified for niggles or injuries and in fact exercise substitutions are the norm. Struggle to up and down off the floor easily? We’ve got you covered. Sore wrists or knees? We have substitutions. Problems with dizziness or vertigo – we take care of those issues too! These classes are low impact, work on core and balance and will make you stronger, fitter and leaner. Similar in style to the S&C classes, Lisa takes you through themed workouts that change every fortnight. Using a variety of resistance training tools and methods you’ll get stronger, improve core and balance, and burn a ton of calories. Always great fun, you’ll see results quickly in this motivating and supportive environment. There are plenty of exercise modifications available and this class is open to all ages and all levels of fitness. Beginners are welcome.
