My name is Lisa Bullock and I’m a career personal trainer of over 20 years. I’ve seen all manner of trends and fads in my time and seen our knowledge of the science behind fitness and nutrition grow enormously in that time. What we keep coming back to is the simplicity behind giving you your best fitness and nutrition advice. Too many fitness influencers and coaches try and make it complicated. It doesn’t need to be. It’s not necessarily “easy” but the processes are straightforward and simple.
My job is to get you results, whether it’s remedial exercise, nutrition education and advice or fitness gains. I don’t do gimmicks and I’m not here to suggest the latest social media fitness fancy. Staying up to date with the latest research is a necessary part of my work and as such, all our fitness programming and advice is evidence based. A solid understanding of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics is key in programming movement and providing accurate fitness advice, and this experience and knowledge is the foundation of my business.
Building relationships is vital in my business and I’m proud that many of my current clients have been with me for 10 years or longer. I always ask for commitment and consistency from my clients in reaching their goals – and in return I also promise consistency and commitment as a trainer.
It really bothers me that these days the average time a personal trainer stays in the business is less than 18 months. With me, you get the benefit of decades of knowledge – there’s very little I haven’t seen in my time in the industry and little I haven’t done. I find it hugely fulfilling to share that knowledge with my clients.
These days I specialise in mainly womens health and fitness as well as offering corrective exercise for injuries. I offer small group training sessions as well as limited personal training sessions.
